Volunteer

Due to overwhelming interest, starting on 26 August 2026, we have paused new volunteer sign ups. New projects will be announced in late 2026 and will kickoff in early 2027. Check back in December 2026 to sign up. Those who signed up prior to 26 August 2026 should have heard back. Please email us if you have not received information about how to be onboarded. The volunteer form will remain open for new AI in Public Health working group member sign ups.

If your workplace offers an employee giving program, you can support Humane Intelligence’s work through Benevity and contribute to our mission of making AI more accountable. You can also volunteer with us to receive corporate matching hours. Through your employee portal, search for “Humane Intelligence Inc” to view our open volunteer requests and projects.

Humane Intelligence and the NYU Center for Health Data Science launched its AI in Public Health working group in December 2025. Note this is a formal working group that requires sign up and approval. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Please use the volunteer form linked at the bottom of the page to sign up.
