Algorithmic assessments: challenges of red teaming generative AI

We are thrilled to participate in Data & Analytics Wednesday on Wednesday, September 11th at 6pm AEST (Sydney, Australia), where our Fellow, Fariza Rashid, will present an introduction to algorithmic assessment and discuss the current challenges in red teaming generative AI models.

Generative AI models hold great potential but also carry significant risks, including the generation of biased, false, harmful, or deceptive content, as well as numerous security vulnerabilities. Red teaming is an adversarial and exploratory method used to evaluate these models, uncovering their weaknesses and improving their robustness. During the session, Fariza will also share insights from the Generative AI public red teaming challenge at Defcon 2023, the largest-ever Generative AI Public event for closed-source API models that Humane Intelligence developed in collaboration with Seed AI and DEFCON AI Village.
